Imagine Movie Night - April FFN (29th) We are going to have an outdoor movie night under the stars! If you would like to help with set up or handing out free snacks, please let us know! Hungry Howie's Night - May FFN (24th) We need a waitstaff! If you would be interseted in serving as a waitress or bussing tables, please let us know. Outdoor Classroom We have received a grant from Lowe's and are very excited to begin construction on a new Outdoor Classroom! If you would be able to help install fencing, putting together tables, etc - please let us know! Rummage Sale We need all garage salers!! Fall 2011 is going to see our PTO put on a Rummage Sale! If you are interested in helping with the planning of the event, we would love the help. We will also need help sorting and pricing items as well as help during the sale. (Date TBD) Lunch Time Helpers The school is asking for help during the hours of 11:00-1:00 pm to help monitor students during their lunch time. If you can help, please let us know! Imagine School Library Due to district wide budget cutbacks, the Imagine School Library will be run by parent volunteers again next year. This is a wonderful way to interact with the students and help to foster a life long love of reading. If you would be interested in helping out with our library, please let us know! After School Club Helpers Do you want to help with Cheerleading, Flag Football, Art, Brain Surge, or one of the other exciting after school clubs offered at Imagine this year? After School Tutors If you are interested in helping with tutoring some of our wonderful students, please let us know! Watching children during PTO meetings Does anyone want to volunteer to watch any children that are at PTO meetings? Please let us know if you can help with this. At Home Opportunities: Items that you can donate to make a difference: Any unwanted or unused items for our 2011 Rummage Sale!! Please clearly mark item or bag "PTO Rummage Sale" and list your family's name. You can bring items to any PTO function or drop them off at the front desk. We can also use plastic shopping bags and colored dots! Library Books Our library always happily accepts donations of used books! You can send us an email and we will arrange to get the books or you can drop them in the school office. Musical Instruments We can use any and all donations of used musical instruments. Just send us an email or drop them off in the school office. Thanks! 		The Make a Difference program! We all can make a positive difference in our student's education at Imagine whether we are volunteering in the classroom or after normal school hours. There are so many ways to impact our school. This year we will be tracking each family's volunteer hours. If you are volunteering in the classroom or in some other capacity at the school: You need to check yourself in at the office and note your activity, the teacher and what time you started volunteering in the volunteer log. When you are done volunteering, just return to the office and note the time that you are leaving in the log and those hours will be added to your family's total. If you are volunteering at home by completing a project for a teacher: The teacher will send home a cover sheet with the project for completion. Fill this out and return with your completed project. These sheets will then be collected by PTO and those hours will be added to your family's total. If there is another way that you volunteer and your hours will not be captured by either of the above methods, please send an email with your hours to contactus@imagineschoolpto.com
