When and where are PTO meetings held? PTO meetings are typically held the second Tuesday of every month in the School's Media Center. Please note: Due to some holidays and Spring Break, the schedule may change and will be reflected in your student's agenda and on our calendar.
I've never attended a PTO meeting before, is it too late? NO, all are welcome at any time, we would love for you to join us! Bring a friend along!
What are volunteer hours? It is the policy of Imagine School that all families volunteer 20 hours in support of the school. This requirement does not go up if you have more than one student at school, it is just 20 hours per family. If this requirement is not met and the school is at capacity, families who have not completed their 20 hours of volunteering will need to enter a lottery to retain their seat at the school. Don't worry! Getting your hours in is easy and fun!
Where do I turn in my volunteer hours? If you are volunteering in the classroom or in some other capacity at the school: You need to check yourself in at the office and note your activity, the teacher and what time you started volunteering in the Volunteer Log, located at the Front Desk. When you are done, return to the office and note the time that you are leaving in the log and those hours will be added to your family's total.
If you are volunteering at home by completing a project for a teacher: The teacher should send home a cover sheet with the project for completion. Fill this out and return with your completed project. These sheets will then be collected by PTO and those hours will be added to your family's total.
If there is another way that you volunteer and your hours will not be captured by either of the above methods, please send an email with your hours to contactus@imagineschoolpto.com
How do I learn about opportunities to volunteer? You can email us at contactus@imagineschoolpto.com, contact your home room team or teacher to inquire about volunteer opportunities. Check out the opportunities listed on our Volunteer Page. Also, there is a volunteer board in the school office where all teachers post small jobs that they need to have done.

I work during the day, how can I help when school is not in session? There are lots of way to help support our school after hours. You can contact your home room team or your student's teacher and let them know you are willing to help. Often the teachers can send home things to cut out, glue, etc. to prepare for a lesson. You can earn hours by donating supplies to the classroom and gently used uniforms. If you have donated supplies, please let us know by sending email to contactus@imagineschoolpto.com Also, come to a PTO meeting. It is a great way to get involved, counts toward your volunteer hours and is fun!

Can I buy volunteer hours? Yes, you can buy any or all of your volunteer hours, if that is easier for you. The cost per hour is $10. Or you can purchase supplies for the school at the same rate, every $10 spent equals one volunteer hour. |
