Welcome! We are glad you clicked by! Imagine Charter School at North Manatee PTO, Inc., is a separate, independent entity that exists to help support the school. We assist our teachers, lend helping hands, plan and carry out special events. All funds raised through PTO efforts will be used to directly benefit the school and the students. Each family has a voice in the PTO and the direction. Without you, we would not exist! By working together, we can foster a wonderful learning environment for our students. Please join us, we need your help!

This annual event just keeps getting better, and better! We look forward to seeing the classroom projects, playing the games, and of course, the wonderful silent auction items this year. Please mark your calendar for this family fun event.
If you have an item to donate, or know of a business that would like a table at the fair, please contact us at contactus@imaginepto.com and we'll give you more information. The $40.00 fee for vendors allows you to sell or market your product or service for the duration of the event.
A big thank you to the helpers at the Holiday Bazaar, and the Holiday Shop - a great time was had by all! Together, you helped raise almost three thousand dollars!!!
Coke Reward Points
We like the fundraisers that do not cost our families money. Two great programs are Boxtops & Coke Reward Points. Quantity matters!
Please sign up on their website and donate points to our school, or turn your bottlecaps & cardboard codes in to your homeroom teacher. We'll collect them and be sure the school benefits from this offer!

BOXTOPS!
We recieved the boxtop check, and your hard work paid off! A big thank you to Ms. Dorothy Motumbo, who spearheaded this campaign. The May, 2011 and October, 2011 submissions were included in the $1323.00 amount.
We continously collect boxtops from products all year. Each boxtop coupon is woth ten cents, and it adds up fast. We've earned well over $3000 since the program was started. Turn them in throughout the year to your homeroom teacher. Boxtops can be found on cereal boxes, Kleenex, Pillbury, Saran Wrap, Ziplock, Land O'Lakes, Avery paper products. The class that collects the most for each collection round will win a party! Every boxtop helps!

Mimio's are installed!
A huge thank you to parents, and staff who helped support our PTO last year. You said technology was something you wanted to see more of in the classrooms. In the final meeting of the 2011 school year, it was voted on to purchase interactive whiteboard equipment with the proceeds raised that year. We were able to fund and install five full sets of MimioTeach systems, projectors, MimioView's, and MimioPad's. The Mimio system turns the whiteboard into an interactive one, allowing the dynamic exchange between students, teachers and the lesson at hand.
The teachers have undergone training for this product, and are really excited to be able to use this cutting edge technology in the classrooms. The gains from this type of investment should be amazing for the students.
Thank you so much!!
Should you want to see the product that was purchased, please click on the link below. There are some interesting applications for this new equipment.

Uniform Exchange
The Uniform Exchange is back by popular demand. The clothing in the exchange has been pre-learned in and worn by a former student! Families can donate gently used uniform pieces to the Exchange and either receive other like uniform items in larger sizes or credit for volunteer hours. If you don't have any old uniforms to donate pre-worn uniform pants, skirts, shorts, shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts and spirit shirts are available for purchase for $2.00 a piece.
The Exchange is generally open during monthly PTO meetings and at certain PTO sponsored events throughout the year.
Don't forget to turn in your old uniforms at the front desk or bring them to a PTO meeting!

Unity
"I dreamed I stood in a studio and watched two sculpters there. The clay they used was a young child's mind and they fashioned it with care. One was a teacher...the tools he used were books, music and art. The other, a parent, worked with a guiding hand and a gentle, loving heart. Day after day, the teacher toiled with touch that was careful, deft and sure. While the parent labored by his side and polished and smoothed it over. And when at last, their task was done, they were proud of what they had wrought. For the things they had molded into the child could neither be sold nor bought. And each agreed they would have failed if they had worked alone. For behind the parent stood the school and behind the teacher, the home." Author Unknown
